Snap! Orlando's 'CITY unseen' is an ongoing public art project featuring site-specific installations scattered throughout Orlando. The project introduces the city to Augmented Reality [ AR ] experiences, blending works by globally recognized artists with cutting-edge AR technology. Visitors can witness murals spring to life, witness projection mapping transition into the virtual realm, and embark on a 360-degree tour of an artist's Los Angeles studio via teleportation.

CITY unseen aims to stretch the artistic boundaries of this innovative medium and position Orlando within a global dialogue regarding leveraging emerging technology to craft more sophisticated forms of art and educational encounters. By enriching viewers' perspectives on art, dimensional reality, and perception, this initiative contributes a new layer of cultural significance to Downtown and the broader Central Florida area. The project is first established in Downtown Orlando, featuring several public installations and murals accompanied by integrated augmented reality elements accessible through the CITY unseen App.
